Kroenke Kottage was built in 2009 and is located on the northwest shore of Shawano Lake near the end of a dead end road. Our log home includes an attached double garage. The main level features a beautiful vaulted great room with 2 story windows overlooking Shawano Lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (including a dishwasher), hickory cabinets, solid surface counter tops and a full complement of dishes and flatware. The master bedroom, also located on the main level, features log furniture including a queen size bed and full bath. For your convenience there is a washer and dryer, mud room/foyer and 1/2 bath on the main level. Upstairs you will find a large loft, 2 bedrooms and a 3/4 bath. The loft features a sitting area overlooking the great room (and two full size futon couches / sleepers). One of the upstairs bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has a full size bed. Other features: Screened porch, covered deck with recessed lighting, A/C and ceiling fans, and wireless internet. There are also games, movies and a Bluetooth-enabled stereo available for your use while staying at our lake house.

Step outside the cabin to enjoy the deck overlooking Lulu Lake, a fan favorite and soak up the sun or slide over in the shade. You can grab your fishing pole and use the rowboat or canoe from our private dock. In the evening gather round the campfire with friends and family. Firewood is included.The cabin includes a fully-equipped kitchen, living room with TV, wood stove, bar and refrigerator. The master has a queen-size bed, TV, and window air conditioning and the second has a double size bed. There are two hide-away beds also. Full bathroom and a washer/dryer room. Shawano Lake has a beautiful county park with large sandy beach for swimming only a couple miles from the cabin. Rent weekly only in June, July and Aug. for May, Sept. and Oct. there is a minimum 3 night stay required. Weeks run from Saturday in at 1:00 PM. to Saturday out at 9:00 AM.

The entire lower unit of this duplex is located on the Wolf river channel in downtown Shawano, with Huckleberry harbor next door is available for lodging with a 2 night minimum booking. Home is located directly across the street from the Shawano County Sheriff's Department. The upstairs unit is currently being remodeled. Inside garage parking for one car and one car driveway parking available on right side of driveway. Access to Shawano Lake via channel/river by boat is available. This is a 4 private bedroom, 1.5 bath home on the Wolf River below the upper dam just north of County A bridge, with a newly rebuilt stairway to a new dock on Wolf River. You have access to Shawano Lake, so bring or rent a boat. 3 miles south of Menominee casino and 3.5 miles north of Charlie's County Market for grocery. Casino and snowmobile trails nearby, and a great place to stay for Packer games so bring your family. WiFi and YouTube TV are available. There is a large yard available for outdoor activities. Any outdoor fun such as loud music must conclude by 10:00 PM due to my local ordinance. There is a gas heater in the outer room on first floor which turns on by a remote mounted on the wall in room. Please turn off when no longer needed. There is also an electric movable heater on first floor that will supplement the heating on first floor since heat rises and the second floor will be much warmer than the first. There is a natural gas fireplace in main sitting room controlled with remote thermostat on opposite wall. You must experiment and regulate your heating satisfaction. There is no guest access to the two car garage or adjacent outbuilding. There is a small room off the hallway with Chaise lounger that can be used as another private bedroom. Cigarette butts must not be thrown on gravel driveway or yard. There is no smoking or vaping inside home, if you must smoke, it must be outside, please dispose of butts properly. You should bring your own hardwood firewood and you should also bring your own starter logs if you'd like to have a fire in the fire pit outside. Bundles of firewood are available for sale at gas stations and local area homes. Plus, Walmart sells a box of firewood for about $6 bucks as well as starter logs. There is also some kindling wood provided inside the larger out building. There are recycle and trash barrels on the side of garage, please dispose of trash properly. If you have doggy pets, there are disposal bags for your use in the utility room in kitchen. Please pick up your pet waste and dispose of waste in the black barrel on side of garage. I encourage you to take caution with your doggy regarding ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes if you let doggy wander in the woods during spring-fall seasons! There is also poison Ivy in the thick part of woods behind house, but the front yard is very wide open and should be less of a threat from the above mentioned annoyances. Kitties are also welcome as long as litter box trained, just bring your kitty's litter box and all will be good. Also, if you wish during applicable seasons, you can follow the boardwalk to the left of the wood deck and pond, just be cautious of any poison ivy if you venture off the path during season, you can access the Wolf River via the stairway to river. IF YOU CHOOSE TO VENTURE ONTO THE STAIRWAY DOWN TO THE DOCK ON RIVER, IT IS AT YOUR OWN DECISION, DISCRETION, AND RISK AND YOU AGREE TO ACCEPT ALL LIABILITY IF AN ACCIDENT OCCURS. **USE CAUTION ON THE STAIRS AS THEY CAN BE SLIPPERY WITH ALGAE.** I do not recommend children be taken down to the river without the child wearing a life jacket and having strict one on one adult supervision as the current in river is strong. There is a small dock at the end of stairway and you must always exercise caution on the dock. You should be able to “tie off or anchor” a boat on the dock, but I recommend two anchors and two tie off ropes due to current of river. And you will need a first mate to assist with docking due to current flow. The Murphy Cottage on Moshawquit Lake is a great destination for family vacations in the summer or getaways year-round. The Cottage has been owned by the Murphy family for the past 53 years and has provided priceless summer memories every year for family and friends. The cottage has over 2,100 square feet which include 4 bedrooms (with an additional loft sleeping space) and 2.5 bathrooms. Moshawquit Lake is a 300-acre lake, which the department of natural resources identifies as 97% sand. The lake frontage has a gradual water entrance with a nice hard sand bottom with healthy native lake plants in the lake. Moshawquit Lake is a private lake, which does not permit outside boats from being brought onto the water, which has helped to prevent widespread invasive species from taking over the lake, which has occurred in many other Wisconsin lakes. During the warm weather months, guests do have access to the cottage pontoon boat. The boat operators must provide proof of Wisconsin Boater Safety Certification in order to legally operate the cottage pontoon boat. Operators must also know and follow the Moshawquit Lake boating rules. The pontoon rents out at $100/ day for the first 5 days. The pontoon is included at no charge with your stay of 6 days or more. Many return guests have appreciated the perk of having use of our pontoon, since rental of a pontoon of our size (on nearby lakes, our lake is closed to outside boats), is $250/day or $1,300/week. During the summer months (Memorial Day - Mid-September) the cottage rents for $365/night base fee. A 6-night minimum stay is required for the summer months. Welcome to Cedar Springs Reserve. The property is 170 acres, and surrounds 398 acres of shallow lake and wetlands. If you enjoy fishing there are perch and bluegill to be teased out of the lilies, but you will have to work hard to find them. There's lots of wildlife. Fabulous river tubing just minutes away. Canoes and kayaks available. The entire facility is undergoing on-going renovations, expect new carpeting, fixtures, appliances. The space Spread out into a comfortable King Master Bedroom with its own sitting area, TV, closet and ensuite bath. A second queen bedroom awaits with a full closet, TV, and its own exterior door. The "Hardy Boy Room" features two twin beds, bureau and closet. There is a loft with two more twin beds. We are constantly adding finishing touches so we apologize not all areas are complete yet. We will be adding photos over the next few weeks different areas are finished up. The living room is open-concept, with a gas fireplace and Satellite TV and leads out to a large deck. Note on the TV: because sattelite service is our only option our here for TV and WIFI, we just want you to know that it can be spotty. Especially in bad weather. Which we have a lot of here in Wisconsin! If TV is essential to your vacation happiness, please don't book this house, as we have no control over this aspect. The wifi is good for light-duty surfing and emails, don't expect to stream movies. Our house has surround sound now with bluetooth so you can play your own tunes and they will sound great. Guest access Guests may have full run of the property, except for the storage garages where we keep our equipment. There is a tent outside where we keep our wood pile for our construction materials, please instruct children to keep clear of that. For example we did not advertise a large bar/sunroom that is being worked on but not ready for occupancy yet. Other things to note: We have one other rental on the property, a tiny floating house out on the lake. The aluminum canoe is reserved for those renters. It is usually rented by solo travelers seeking time alone or by couples seeking back-country camping experiences. They will park by the canoe landing area and won't bother you a bit. Our place isn't 100% perfect yet as there are many planned amenities we are still working hard to complete. The sunroom is not complete, the dock had to be pulled out by an excavator early this year due to major ice damage this past winter. You can still launch your canoes/kayaks alrightm but just know its a temporary situation. The hot tub/pavillion are still under construction. The hot tub is working, just doesn't have the pavillion done yet, its functional (no bugs!) but not very "beautiful" . There is a tent outside where we keep the wood we are working on (all the wood we use is from the property and has to be be cut and sawn, hand-peeled, so you will see many things in progress ).

The lakes are very clean and the fishing and boating are fantastic. There's a public sand beach for swimming and the lake association has a no wake time before 10AM and again after 6PM. The bathroom is generous in size and has a double stall shower with detachable shower head. There is a utility room which has a washer and dryer for guests to use. The cottage has central air/heat and free high-speed wi-fi connection. There is a flat-screen TV and DVD player located in the living area. There is no land line phone. Towels and Linens are provided, however beach towels are not. Toiletries/soaps/detergents are not provided, and guests must bring their own paper towels, napkins, and toilet paper. Outside you will find a deck that is accessed through patio doors from the living room. There is a picnic table for meals on the deck and a fire pit in the yard. Wood is provided for guests to use. The lot offers gradual, sandy frontage with a 100' long aluminum dock that offers easy access for boats. Two paddle boards and a pedal boat are available for use, however, you will need to bring your own life jackets for water recreation. We also have a 20' pontoon that guests can rent out for 2019. The fall beings beautiful fall foliage, not to mention it's football season. During the winter come for many activities including ice fishing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. We swim regularly in the lake, during the summer we've seen surface water temperatures in the upper 70's on a consistent basis. The first bedroom has a queen bed and the second is a "kids" room, which includes a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom, and a twin on top. The room also has a pull out twin bed for a slumber party. There is a shared bathroom between the two bedrooms, not to mention beautiful views of the lake. The main level has the kitchen area, a dining room, the master bedroom with an attached bathroom, and a 3 seasons room. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cookware. The dining space has room for 10 to sit around, so the whole family can congregate after a full day. It also shows off some art work from local artists. The 3 seasons room is a place to come sit in the morning as you watch the sun come up with a cup of coffee in your hands. The master bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom, which includes a Whirlpool Jacuzzi. The basement has the fourth bedroom with a queen bed in it. The common area is set up for family fun with plenty of seating room for everyone. If cold start a fire in the Niagara Escarpment stone fireplace. Or for a more competitive time we have family games such as Foosball, a Wii (with Mario Kart amongst other games), and a vintage arcade system. If you want to turn off the lights and pop some popcorn you can watch a movie on the ROKU TV. The basement also walks out to the Machickanee Lake access. We provide a charcoal grill and chairs to relax as you watch the boaters and soak in the fun of the lake. If you want to join them we provide 2 adult kayaks and 2 kids kayaks and supply life jackets. The water level may very depending on the city so because it can be shallow and weedy we don't recommend larger boats from our dock. On the Machickanee there are multiple boat launches in different areas of the flowage for fun on the lake with your boat. In the area you'll find swimming beach in Oconto Falls. They also have local food and attractions. We include maps showing some great public trails to explore. If you want to do something adventurous try the Bay Beach Amusement park, or N.E.W. adventure park. If it's raining you're only a half an hour away from Lambeau field and other Green Bay activities. This place has everything you need for a great family fun trip! *For summer of 2021. We heard the city is going to lower the water level for July than raise it again in September. The goal being to kill the spread of weeds on the shore. As I understand it the city will lower the water level slowly, allowing the fish and wildlife to swim to the deep part of the lake. Than they'll raise it again in September. I have never seen this happen, so I'm unsure of the impact entirely. Rumor is that they will lower the water level over 5’; meaning the dock will be sitting on the bed of the lake. You will not be able to fish or pull a boat up to the dock during this time. As I understand it the local beaches and activities in Oconto Falls will not be impacted because it's a different section and water levels will not be impacted. Sorry I don't have more details.

We are located across the road from Anderson Lake but there is NO direct access to the lake from the property if that is the focus of your getaway. The public launch to Anderson Lake is just 2 minutes away. Anderson Lake does not have a public beach area. Our guests prefer the much larger nearby 417 acre recreational lake which is just 2 1/2 miles from the property. They offer public boat launch, picnic ares and a small beach area for swimming. (see additional information below for pontoon boat, fishing boat and jet ski rentals with delivery options available) For a day at the lake with fun and sand you must visit Kelly Lake located in Suring. You'll find it just 19 miles from the property and worth the drive if you're looking for beach, swimming and picnics. For those willing to endure the cold the Ice Fishing is also very popular on the area lakes. You may want to take part in one of the local ice fishing contests! For cross country ski enthusiasts there are numerous groomed trails nearby. Some local trails would be found in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. It has two dozen groomed Nordic trails totaling 263 miles. The Lakewood Trail (minutes away) offers scenic beauty, challenging climbs and downhills along its 14 mile route. Also the Nicolet Nordic Ski Trail or Nicolet State Trail. You can find more information on cross country ski trails in our area by going to the Wisconsin Trail Guide website. For hunters, in addition to our 17 acres, there are thousands of acres of State public hunting land nearby. If you prefer some adventure during our spring and summer months, you can take a day trip to enjoy Whitewater Rafting. Just 20 to 30 miles from the Lodge you will find numerous outfitters who offer whitewater rafting tours on the Peshtigo River and the Wolf River. In addition to rafting, one offers rock climbing, paintball, kayak tours and a sixty foot high ropes course and zip line. Information and directions are posted in the Lodge for your convenience. For all the whitewater rafting available in the area check out the Wisconsin Trail Guide website and select Paddle Trails! For a unique experience going back in time you might enjoy taking a ride on the Lumberjack Steam train located just 38 miles from the property. During the summer months (June thru August) they offer train runs from the Depot located in Laona to the Lumberjack Camp Museum. They also have special events that include a Cowboy Reenactment where you will take part in a Wild West train robbery. An event not to miss is the Lumberjack Show in July which has been featured on ABC Wide World of Sports, Discovery Channel and several others. This show has been presented for 25 years drawing over a million visitors. Watch lumberjacks compete in running on logs, axe throwing, pole climbing and other nostalgic competition dating back to the 1900s. During the fall enjoy a ride through the fall colors and take in a Saturday Fall Festival Events. Enjoy hiking, cross country skiing or maybe try snow shoes, but please no ATV or dirt bikes on our walking trails. We provide a place that is "just like home" with our four comfy bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a cozy family room and a fully equipped kitchen. We have all the amenities and WiFi is available. Our home is kept extremely clean and tastefully decorated. There is also a back patio with a grill available for your outdoor enjoyment.

Welcome to Cedar Springs Cabin. This water front cabin was originally known as “Stan’s Hideaway” by the locals in the area looking for great fishing and an escape from the city life. It is an original log cabin approaching it’s 100 yr old birthday. It was built by (Stan) and several Norwegian friends using the very cedar logs and stones surrounding the property. It is a historical place. In 2011 it went through major renovations with the help of the Amish. We used much care to not take away from the original cabin feel and yet still “modernize” it to give a feel of an upscale & unique relaxation experience up north. We still work tirelessly every year to update more of the outside areas so it is a work in progress as we go along. Even though it is not completely done to our finished goals, we would still like to share our home with others who find the Wisconsin north woods as magical as we do. Cedar Spring Cabin is on Chute Pond, which is known for it’s incredible wildlife viewing, birding, fishing, boating, swimming (by the dam or rapids near by) and kayaking adventures. The cabin is also nestled up across the street to the National Nicollet Forest with direct access to plenty of snowmobile, ATV, hiking, biking trails. The surrounding areas have an abundance of places to explore in nature, plus extensive shopping and fabulous places to dine out. We provide a list of all our favorite local spots! This is a ideal place for a couple, or a couple of friends, or even a single person to relax and getaway from it all. We can offer a King size bed or 2 twin beds depending how you like your accomedations. If you have a boat you are welcome to launch it down the street and tie it up at our long cedar dock. You will also have access to fire wood for our out door fire pit ring. There is a wonderful large jacuzzi hot tub to soak away the stress and an easy access shower. The inside propane fire place is easily lit with a touch of a switch for those cool nights and mornings. We really encourage people to unwind and “unplug”. However you can receive signal from on your phone. The cabin is not equipped with AC at the moment, but stays relatively cool due to the trees and breeze off the lake. We try to keep to ECO Friendly practices as much as possible for the health of the waterways and the surrounding nature. We encourage our guests to do the same. We look forward to making your stay an enjoyable memory at a historical place.
